My Thoughts:
This next book in the new lush Scottish historical series from USA Today bestselling author, May McGoldrick. is just as well written as the first one.

This pair found an immediate attraction to each other. You knew they were just meant to be. Maisie can’t help but cause trouble and Niall is the epitome of all that is good.
I found this book not quite as epic as the first one but so well written and engaging that I could not put it down. I finished it almost as quickly as the novella I was reading just prior to it.
I look forward to the third book in this series,” Highland Sword”, Morrigan’s story due to release 03/21/2020.
I gave this book 4.75 of 5.0 stars for story line and character development.
The characters in this book were first introduced to us in “Highland Crown” and their story was expounded on here.I received a complimentary ARC of this book to read. This in no way affected my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
