Until she passes his apartment…and keeps driving.Slammers executive Addison Carlisle needs one little favor. Sure, she may have kinda maybe kidnapped one of her professional baseball players, but it’s for a really good cause. Now Sawyer insists he wants a favor in return.This is a delightful and at times humorous romance. Since I read the first book in the series and liked it in spite of it not being my usual read I wanted to read this one too.I was pleasantly surprised that this book may have even been better than the first one in this sports romance series, although I gave it a somewhat lower rating.I was just so blown over by the first book that it may have influenced my opinion at the time.The story has it’s ups and downs with love, a bad family relationship, love found and love almost lost.I gave this book 4.45 of 5.0 stars for story line and characterization.There are sexy moments but no overt sexual content.

My Thoughts:
I have been ready for a good baseball romance since the season opened so when I saw a chance to read this one, I couldn’t resist.
This is my first time reading a book by this author but if she writes another baseball romance I’ll be certain to read it.
When Isla Bennett meets the man of her dreams she has no idea that 24 hours later she will find herself to be his boss.
Isla has come to Nashville because her grandfather that she never knew existed has died. On his deathbed he asked for Isla to come to him but she doesn’t make it before the man draws his last breath. Little does she know that in his will he has made her the new owner of a MLB team.
Liam Cruz, baseball star and part time bartender at his twin sister’s bar immediately feels sympathy and a little more for the obviously distraught young woman. He has no idea that within 24 hours he will have a new boss and she will be that person.
Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down. I must admit that I am a fan of baseball so this read was right up my alley as far as contemporary reads go.
I gave this book 4.5 of 5.0 stars for story line, plot and characterization. It is basically a sweet romance with closed door intimacy.
