So he enlists his best friend to whisper nonsense to Lady Sarah of Alfred’s wicked ways: his gambling addiction, his recklessness, and his supposed understanding with an actress.
This is another delightful holiday novella by Cheryl Bolen.
I enjoyed this short read and would give it 4.25 of 5.0 stars for story line and characterization.

Madness Abounds
Hi everyone! Last month I talked about my birthday and thank you to you all for the lovely wishes you sent in my inbox and on my social media. This month is just pure madness! First, Guarding the Countess is out TODAY (see below and click the links on the left). We’ve been looking at homes here in Dallas. I’ll be leaving for L.A. on Saturday for a cover shoot for some books next year and heading to Florida at the end of the month for NINC conference (a writer conference). Phew!! So crazy and so fun all at once.
Oh, and one more thing, Elizabeth Essex and I have a Christmas duet coming out next month (I’ll be sending a quick newsletter next week with pre-order info as soon as it goes up, so look for that coming soon).
Basically, I have not taken a breath in 30 days. Sometimes it’s so easy for me to get caught up in the to dos that I forget to live in the moment. What do you do to stay present in the midst of chaos? I’ll take all suggestions. 🙂

My Thoughts:
Guarding the countess is Jess Michael’s newest Scandal Sheet novella. This one is a short and sexy read of the Reverse Harem/polyamorous romance genre.
There is more sex than story I am sad to say as I have liked this series to date.
This book book didn’t appeal to me as it features M/M & M/F/M and that is not my cup of tea. Never the less I did read it.
It is a quick read and can easily be read in one sitting.
I gave this newest novella 3.25 of 5.0 stars for story line (not much of one) and characterization.
