Publisher’s Description:

1689793544Blake hates Christmas.

Shelley loves the holiday more than anything else.

Blake’s plan for the holidays: six bottles of whiskey, a luxury apartment in Miami, no women, no contact with friends and family. Just him and Netflix.

Shelley’s plan for the holidays: relieve Tyrone Dane of thirty thousand dollars, get out of Canada unharmed, celebrate with a glittering Christmas party with her family.

But fate intervenes. Blake and Shelley are stranded in a snow-covered chalet. Christmas morning is approaching, and with it comes an unforgettable celebration.

If you love romantic, snow-covered Christmas stories, get Christmas Love on your reader!

My Thoughts:

What do you do if you run across a wet, cold female Santa with something to hide.

When Blake’s holiday plans are spoiled by Shelley he does what a true gentleman would. He gives her a ride thinking that he’ll be rid of her around the next bend. The weather has other ideas though and Blake and Shelley who are exact opposites on the spectrum when it comes to the Christmas Holiday end up thrown together for the holiday in spite of their wants.

To Blake Christmas is a time to avoid.
To Shelley it’s the most joyful time of year.
How will this time together change this disparaging couple?
This is a funny at times short read. I gave it 4.5 of 5.0 stars for character development and plot.
This book is too short to delve deeply in the ins and outs of the hero and heroine’s personalities but it is still a well written tales and worth your time if you like a good holiday romance.
I received a complimentary copy of this book via Hidden Gems to read. This in no way affected my opinion of this novella which I in fact read twice.

Raven Birchfield moves into her deceased eccentric aunt’s home with her mother and younger brother not realizing her life is about to change in ways she’s never imagined. The house backs up to a small graveyard. When she goes to plant a flower in her new yard for her horticulture class, strange things happen.

She digs up an old nursery rhyme book as well as a quartz crystal on a necklace. A raven keeps following her around and she keeps hearing an eerie voice calling out the name Mary on the breeze. To make matters worse, at her new high school she starts getting bullied by one of the popular, pretty girls who happens to have a boyfriend that Raven wishes was hers.

After researching the origins of nursery rhymes for her term paper, Raven finds out that they are really stories of horrid people and events from history, one of them being about Bloody Mary who is featured in the nursery rhyme, Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary.

When Raven enters into an alternate reality where she ends up in the body and hearing the thoughts of the man killer, Mary, she is forced to make choices that will alter her life as well as Mary’s forever.

Publisher’s Description:

They were an ancient order descended from the great Tuatha De Danann, a tribe from the Goddess Danu. Half human and half fae, each blessed with mystical powers. They were also given holy relics and guardianship over the dragons.

With the dawn of Christianity, the dragons were systematically hunted down and slain leaving only one. The Dragon Knights took her from Ireland to a land across the sea, settling in the Great Glen near Urquhart. The clan was known as the MacKay clan, descendants from the MacAoidh.

Yet, there were those who deemed the Order had too much power, and they tried to possess it for themselves. They were evil and twisted, and their plan succeeded one fateful night.

The Clan MacKay is no longer.

The Dragon Knights are scattered across the land.

Yet out of the darkness, they will each fight for redemption, and the women they love.

Dragon Knight’s Sword
Duncan MacKay encounters the woman from his dreams, literally. She is from the future, somehow has his lost sword, and can talk to the Dragon who is able to lift his family’s curse.
When an ancient sword lands at Brigid O’Neill’s doorstep, she starts dreaming of a rugged Highlander. Her quest to return the sword will alter everything she believes.
Dragon Knight’s Medallion
Stephen MacKay is plagued with visions that threaten to destroy his soul. When Aileen Kerrigan falls through a time tunnel, he vows to keep the beautiful, half-blooded fae safe.
Aileen, armed with the medallion her mother gave her, and a matching one belonging to a long dead knight, is thrown into the past. When she encounters a handsome but surly warrior who is on a quest, she fears her future could be entwined with his.
Dragon Knight’s Axe
When Alastair MacKay rescues a woman from a slave trader, he steps back into a world filled with magic—taking on the role of protector and leading him on a journey to confront his greatest regret and fears.
Research assistant, Fiona O’Quinlan loves translating ancient artifacts at Trinity College. When she falls asleep on an archeological dig, she awakens in another time. Yet, she is unprepared for the danger ahead—losing her heart and soul to Alastair “Beast” MacKay.
Dragon Knight’s Shield
Angus MacKay is back on Scottish soil and encounters a woman who can wield a sword as mightily as his warriors, and takes her captive. With each passing day, the fire dragon inside him roars to claim the one woman fate has destined for him.
Famed mystery writer, Deirdre Flanagan, is on a vacation to Scotland, when she steps through the mists and enters into a skirmish alongside a Highlander. However, the fight has only begun, and now she must battle Angus as well as evil in order to claim the love of this Dragon Knight.
Dragon Knight’s Ring
Crusader, Adam MacFhearguis is on one last quest to the standing stones in Scotland where he seeks to bury the past. However, a silent prayer sends him to an unknown future and to his beloved Meggie.
Margaret MacKay lives a life in the future without the memories of her past. With each passing day, she yearns to learn more from the stranger in her time.
Will love free the bonds to unite the two lovers who were doomed centuries ago? Or will evil finally claim victory over the Dragon Knights?
